Wheel
From Fantastic Wiki
There are three types of wheels, clockwise, counter-clockwise and unpowered. Wheels cannot be resized and the powered wheels need something at their center to rotate.

[edit] Powered Wheels
Powered wheels consist of the clockwise wheel and the counter-clockwise wheel. These wheels have a rotational force applied between the axle (the central joint) and the body. If the centre is constarined then the wheel body will try to spin. If the wheel body is fixed and a free rod attached to the axle, it will spin in the reverse direction to that marked, see [1].
These wheels have a defined target rate of revolution, so they will both accelerate and decelerate to achieve it (see [2]). Consequently under normal circumstances, powered wheels have an upper ceiling for rotational speed.
[edit] Information
- Counter-clockwise wheels are violet and have a dark violet arrow going around the center joint.
- Clockwise wheels are yellow and have a dark yellow arrow going around the center joint.
- Both have a mass of 1256.6370614359 mass units.
[edit] Uses
- Constant, steady power
- Delayed mechanisms
- Completing levels much faster than green or brown (normally)
[edit] Unpowered Wheel
Unpowered wheels require external forces to be applied before they will spin. However they do not have an upper ceiling on their rotational speed. Exploiting this feature can lead to extremely high speeds, or very slow speeds.
[edit] Information
- The unpowered wheel is a light blue that contains 2 dark blue swirls surrounding the central joint.
- They have the same mass as a powered wheel, 1256.6370614359 mass units.
