Guide:Kertie309's Intermediate brown guide
From Fantastic Wiki
Welcome to my Brown guide. This guide explains all of the designs that aren't complex, but still greatly useful. I'll cover designs such as hinges, Brown-a-pults, and simple cranes. Assuming you know how to make simple things like weight, chains, triangles, etc, we'll start the real guide.

[edit] Hinge arms
These aren't too hard to work with, although used in almost every brown contraption.
[edit] Blue Arms
These are mostly used for reaching, you can use them as water-break catapults in some occasions though.
- First build a triangle stand for the hinge to rest on. [1]
- Next build a smaller triangle hanging from the triangle stand (make it like the example or opposite the example if you're going the other way). [2]
- Add lots of weight on the high side of the triangle. [3]
- Connect the lower side of the triangle to the goal piece (make sure it stays.) [4]
That's all there is to it!
[edit] Brown Arms
Here are the brown hinges. They're for levels where the goal piece isn't in the work box. For this one I moved the goal piece in higher.
- Build a triangle for the hinge to connect to. [5]
- Build smaller triangle that's connected to the big triangle. [6]
- Add weight on the tall side of the triangle. [7]
- Change the side of the small triangle that's going to hit the goal piece to a wood rod.(The example doesn't work, try to fix it)[8]
[edit] Brown-a-pults
Basically a They work well too.
- Build a triangle with water rods. [9]
- Build a square "wheel" on the top of the triangle. It should be fairly large to support the weight that will be dropping. [10]
- Add a catapult part on the left side. [11]
- Add a platform that is connected to the wheel right under the wheel. [12]
- Spam-click to add about 20-30 sticks, (acting as the weight) right above the platform. [13]
[edit] Simple brown cranes
- Build a triangle with water rods. [14]
- Build a "wheel" on the top of the triangle. [15]
- Make a box for the goal piece to stay in. [16]
- Make a long chain off the end of the box. [17]
- Add lots of weight on the other side of the chain. [18]
- Make sure the weight pulls the box up once its ready. [19]
That's all there is to it!
[edit] Uses
You can use all this information to beat many levels. Brown!
